Morning Announcements

High School:

The schedule today is 2,8,6,4

Congratulations to the girls tennis team on their 4-0 victory over cannon county. With that victory they are headed to their first state championship ever. Go eagles!

High School student council will have their first meeting today in Ms. Lewallen's room at the beginning of advisory.

Sunday afternoon the Signal Mountain High School Boys' Soccer Team did so well in the Sectional State Qualifier that one of the coaches lost track of who scored. Juniors Cadyn Huddleston, George Coogan, and Jimmy Johnson and senior Krider Cook and sophomore Remy Newton all scored a goal apiece as your Screaming Eagles won 6-0.

The next match is the State Quarterfinals against Alcoa High School at the Spring Fling Tuesday, 5/22/18, starting at 2:00 PM Central Standard Time.

If you took Contemporary Issues this year and will be taking AP World History next year, you need to get the summer assignment from Mrs. Thomas, Mr. Jellison, or Mrs. Baxley before school is out. The summer reading must be completed before school starts in the fall.

GAPP has one last spot open for a boy. At this point, we are also allowing “hosting only” applications, in case you are not ready for an international trip yet, but are interested in hosting a German exchange student this fall. If you are interested, come and talk to Mrs. Draper during Directed studies. Nathan Yaeger, please stop by to pick your German.
