- All patrons and bags are subject to search.

To ensure a safe, orderly, and respectful environment for all participants, officials, and spectators, individuals attending school athletic events are expected to:
- Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times.
- Model appropriate behavior for student-athletes and younger spectators.
- No taunting, ridiculing, or intimidating opponents, officials, or other spectators.
- Refrain from the use of profanity, vulgar language, obscene gestures, or disruptive behavior.
- Respect the decisions of game officials.
- Follow all facility rules, security procedures, and directions from school staff and event personnel.
- Spectators are not allowed on playing surfaces at any time.
- Keep aisles, walkways, and emergency exits clear at all times.
- Do not possess or use alcohol, tobacco products, vaping devices, illegal drugs, or other prohibited substances on school property.

High School Bowling
Bowling for 2026 – 2027 Season!!!
We are always looking for bowlers and next season is no exception!!! We have a boys team and a separate girls team.
The High School teams are open to all students in grades 8 – 12 and tryouts will be Monday, August 24, 2026 and Wednesday, August 26, 2026. You do not need to be at both tryout dates but you do need to have all paperwork filled out in Final Forms before tryouts in August.
No experience or equipment required. The time commitment for the regular season can be as little or as much as your schedule will allow. I’ve had several students over the years that participate in other Fall/Winter activities including band, cross country, etc.
If you THINK you might be interested in joining the team, please join us in June and July for summer practices just for fun. These practices are just once a week and at your leisure. We will have practices on June 4, 11, 18, July 9, 16, 23, 30. The regular season starts with tryouts in August and ends in early December unless we make the postseason (we usually make the postseason with at least one if not both teams) which carries over into January. **IMPORTANT** 2026 Physicals and Final Forms MUST be completed by July 1 to be eligible to participate.
Players will be asked to meet by the SMGCC putting green near the Clubhouse. We’ll likely not have access to the driving range, so players would need to stretch and practice ahead of the tryout. Instructions and rules will be given prior to the tryout beginning and will consist of 18 holes for boys & 9 holes for girls. There should be some time to practice putting prior to teeing off.
Please know that the score in this 2nd round tryout is NOT the final determining factor for making the roster. The first tryout, 2nd tryout, as well as tournament scoring, are all factors being considered. Players not listed have secured their roster position.
For those who make the final roster, there will be an in-person parent meeting on Wednesday, 7/8/26 at 6:30 PM at the Pavillion near the Pickle Ball Courts at Althaus Park.

The Signal Mountain Girls’ Lacrosse program is coming off a historic season, finishing with an 11–6 record and its first-ever DI-A Region 3 Title! We are excited to continue building on this momentum heading into the 2026–2027 season.

There will be no summer team activities, but all returning players are encouraged to be active in summer/travel ball opportunities. Fall Open Field sessions will begin Monday, August 31, 2026.

Full-team TSSAA allotted practices will take place in the evenings November 9–13 and November 16–20, 2026.

While there are no official tryouts for MSXC, any student planning to run this Fall MUST have a current sports physical (dated AFTER April 15, 2026) and additional forms uploaded to Final Forms and approved by the school trainer prior to their first practice with the team. (If any forms are missing or haven’t been approved by the trainer, your athlete will not be eligible to practice with the team. No exceptions!)
(Make sure you upload the forms as soon as possible to give the athletic trainer ample time to approve them as she needs to approve ALL forms for ALL fall athletes.)
