High school:
The 2026 Homecoming Dance will be on September 19th. Tickets are available for electronic purchase via Givebacks now. Tickets will be available for in-person purchase during lunch every day next week.
Attention students in grades 9-12, the craft and textile club will have its first meeting tomorrow, September 15th in the theatre classroom from 3-4 pm. Anyone interested is welcome to attend, as this will double as our interest meeting. We will have snacks, so feel free to drop by!
Are you interested in business and leadership? Join FBLA, The Future Business Leaders of America. FBLA members compete in events, discover career paths, and build real-world connections and skills. An interest meeting will be held tomorrow, September 15th during SOAR in Coach Barnhart’s room.
Take your STEM skills to the next level! The Technology Student Association is where innovation meets leadership. If you are interested in robotics, coding, engineering, public speaking, or other areas, TSA offers competitions, teamwork experience, and leadership opportunities at the local, state, and national levels. Come to the next TSA meeting tomorrow September 15th at 3PM in room 2233 or see Mrs. Lubinski, the TSA advisor, to learn more.
Interested in an engineering competition with problem solving, modeling, design, and essay components? Stop by Mrs. Teoli’s room and pick up an information sheet and form your team of 4-6 students by September 18.
Interested in history and want to compete at a regional, state, and national level? Meet in the theatre classroom after school for National History Day’s first meeting, Wednesday, September 16 from 3:00-4:30!
There will be a Fall Season meeting for all SMMHS Theatre stage and tech parents and guardians tonight at 6:00 PM in the Theatre. We will discuss the upcoming shows, rehearsal schedules, and hear about opportunities to join TAB.
