Morning Announcements
All:
We will have practice for Academic Team middle and high school on Friday after school in the Compass. Please bring your permission slip and $20 entry for the December 13th meet at CSAS to Mr. Fickley in room 4039 ASAP!
Heads up!
After-school tutoring will be closed on December 17th, 18th, and 19th. Enjoy your holiday break.
Ms. Shephard and Ms. Boone are leading a trip to Greece in the summer of 2027! The interest meeting is tonight at 6:00 in Ms. Boone’s room, 4014.
High school:
Chatt State will be in the Media Center tomorrow during SOAR to help students register for spring classes. If you are in DE English, History, or math, you do not need to register for those classes. This is ONLY for students graduating early and students who have DE Study, Organize, and Succeed in their schedule for an asynchronous class. You must register for class before next Friday. If you are not registered, Dr. D will have to change your schedule.
The high school softball and basketball programs are teaming up to help the Forgotten Child Fund. On Saturday Dec 13, we will host basketball games vs the Baylor School; admission is free; donations of cash or new unwrapped toys or winter coats are greatly encouraged with all proceeds going directly to the Forgotten Child Fund
Middle School:
Hey, Middle Schoolers! It’s your chance! Get ready for the state-level TEAMS competition, where you can compete with a team of 2-4 in engineering challenges. Secure your spot for this exciting event by submitting your team list and a $30 fee to Mrs. Birch by December 12th. Stop by Mrs. Birch’s or Mrs. Brock’s rooms for more information.
The next meeting of the Middle School Cards and Board Games Club will take place today from 2:45 to 4:00 pm in Mrs. Bergren’s room. Bring a game and a friend!
