High School:

The schedule for today is 2, 8, 6, 4

A Maryville College admission counselor will visit Signal Mountain today from 1:00-1:40 in Guidance. There will also be a Davidson College admission counselor today from 12:40-1:10. Please come to guidance for a pass if you are interested in attending either one of these information sessions.

HS yearbook club will be having a brief meeting in and. Manning’s room at the beginning of DS today.

High school students interested in participating in TEAMS, Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Math, and Science should come to an interest meeting in Ms. McCormack's room at the beginning of Directed Studies today.

Trick or treat! The Yearbook Staff will be selling Boo-grams all next week! If you are interested in buying a boo gram for your boo or one of your best witches, come buy a boo-gram during lunches starting on October 21st.

Help us "Scare Away Hunger" by bringing in 3 items to your first period teacher beginning Monday to get a dress up day on Halloween! All costumes must be within dress code with no masks or props.

Congratulations to the Lady Eagles soccer team for winning the District Championship last night over rival CSAS! The 9-1 victory was accomplished with six goals from Camilla Mincey and Kara Wilson, Lilly Whitney, and Kaiya Easterly each contributing one. Congratulations also to All-District players Maddie Avery, Riley Furr, Camilla Mincey, Lilly Whitney and District MVP Lucy Calhoun. Region play starts next week with a game at home on Tuesday—come out and support the ladies as they begin their campaign to defend their state championship!

The SMXC eagles did it again yesterday with a great showing at the front-runner area championship! Both the girls and boys varsity teams placed 3rd ! Come out next Wednesday as both teams look to defend their region titles.

Middle School:

Congratulations to both boys and girls middle school basketball teams in their victories over Soddy Daisy last night! Students, teachers, administrators, parents, and all in between, please come out and support our teams next Tuesday at home against Loftis. Go Eagles!

Attention all witches, ghouls, and ghosts! It is spooky season! The Yearbook staff is hosting a Halloween Monster Mash, so wear your best costume and come ready to boogie the evening away on October 25 from 6-8pm in the middle school gym! Costs $5 at the door! Prizes will be given to those who have the best costumes!
