Hello My Name Is...
Hayley Wood
I am a middle school Physical Education Teacher. I primarily teach 6th grade, as well as a few 7th and 8th grade classes. I am also the Physical Education Department Lead. I have been teaching at SMMHS since December 2011. I had the humble honor of receiving the Physical Education Teacher of the Year award in October of 2021 for the state of Tennessee.
My husband also works in education, and is a football coach at Cleveland High School. We have two young children, Chance Isaiah Wood and Blakely Marie Wood. We also have a shih-poo dog named Fulmer (#VFL) that we have had since he was born in 2010.
