Ladies and Gentlemen, we’re getting some breaking news coming into the office right now. Last night the middle school girls soccer team played the girls from Chattanooga charter School, who also claimed the Eagles as their mascot. Due to the outcome of this game, this announcer can now say with certainty that the Signal mountain eagles are the best Eagles in the city, as they have now beaten every other team in Hamilton county schools who claims the Eagles as their mascot. One fan commented after the game, Quote, Go Eagles!. While many were confused as to which team this fan was referring to, upon further investigation, it appears that the fan, a signal mountain student, was referring to the signal mountain Eagles.
The score was 9 to zero, with goals from Mabry St. Charles, Harper Kimling, Presley Smith, Tate Flenniken, Avery Hemstreet, and 2 goals by both Sydney Gordon and Libby Lyons. Our girls certainly spread the goals around, and once again proved that the Signal Mountain Eagles fly the highest and furthest of all the Eagles. Looking back at this game, This reporter is left to think that student had it right: Go Eagles!
Great job to the Girls tennis team ! There were several great matches at GPS!!!
